Kudos to you sir your Excellency President Tinubu
Yes — the issues you listed do matter for Nigeria and the wider 54 African continent, but each one affects the region in a different way. The deeper truth is that Africa’s growth challenges are structural, and Tinubu’s call for global financial reform addresses only one part of a much larger puzzle.
Global Financial Reforms — Does Africa need them?
Yes — strongly. Tinubu argues that Africa cannot industrialize under the current global financial architecture, which keeps borrowing costs high and limits access to affordable capital. Multiple reports confirm this position:
Africa’s share of global manufacturing remains below 2% despite decades of independence.
Nigeria will spend about $11.6 billion on debt service in 2026, nearly half of projected revenue — money that could have gone into industry, jobs, and infrastructure for 240 million Nigerian youths and graduates
Tinubu says global systems quietly de‑industrialize African nations through punitive lending and unfair trade structures.
Why it matters:
Africa cannot grow if it keeps exporting raw materials and importing finished goods at a premium. Reforming global finance is essential — but it must be paired with internal reforms, governance improvements, and industrial policy. And drain corruption in Nigeria government systems any politician found guilty of stealing Nigerian money and resources must be jailed assets seized money recovered and passport seized to avoid individuals from vanishing. Corrupt Nigerian politicians will not be able to vanish to any 195 countries cuz they will be jailed their photos and names will be on the FBI data base. However, if they vanish to any of the 54 African continents they will not go to jail since only few African countries are not corrupt
