Will 240 million Nigerians elect the leaders they choose without intimidation and political thugs. Voter turnout Nigeria’s turnout has been dropping for years — from 69% in 2003 to 27% in 2023.
When fewer Nigerians vote, the system becomes easier to manipulate.
Youth participation Nigeria’s youth population is massive, but youth turnout is low. If young Nigerians vote in large numbers, the political landscape changes.
Internal party primaries most of Nigeria’s leadership problems start before the general election — during party primaries where candidates are selected.
Accountability pressure. A president becomes better when citizens, media, and institutions force accountability, this is done globally for decades not when we hope for a miracle and prayers which is good, but prayers will not fix a corrupt system respectfully
