Weak human capital 240 million Nigerian youths and graduates are not empowered. Nigeria is rich in oil, but poor in human development.

Underfunded education and health low investment in schools, skills, and healthcare means millions of youths are under-skilled, underprepared, and unhealthy.

Brain drains the most educated leave for better opportunities abroad.
So, the country loses the very Nigerians who could help fix it.

Inequality and poverty feed the cycle. Poverty, inequality, unemployment are linked:
Research shows a two-way relationship—unemployment increases poverty, and poverty keeps 240 million Nigerians unemployed by limiting access to education and skills.

Resource-rich but fragile:
The World Bank now classifies Nigeria among resource-rich countries where poverty is still rising despite oil wealth, because of weak institutions, conflict, and inequality.
