No power, no jobs poverty & darkness for decades 240 Nigerians still paying for light bills and still in darkness why? and that’s not just poetic, it’s economic.

Chronic power failure businesses can’t grow when there’s no reliable electricity.
Small factories, tech hubs, welders, barbers, cold rooms—everyone spends on generators and fuel.

Job impact:
Without power, industrialization is almost impossible. No industries → no mass jobs → youth unemployment explodes.

Insecurity and bad policy scare investment
Insecurity:
Kidnapping, banditry, terrorism, oil theft—these scare away both local and foreign investors for decades they see this Nigerian government both past and present cannot lie to the global world about this.
Who will build a factory where staff can’t travel safely and be killed daily by boko haram, police, military, Airforce, dss, efcc and the government treat as normal business as usual

Policy inconsistency:
Frequent changes in currency rules, trade policies, fuel prices, and taxes create uncertainty.
Investors hate uncertainty. So, money stays away or stays short-term and speculative.
