So what is the realistic estimate?
While no exact number exists, we can infer the scale:

From the 1990s to 2026 alone:
If Nigeria produced ~500,000–600,000 graduates yearly,

And only 10% found formal jobs,

Then ~450,000–540,000 graduates per year remain unemployed or underemployed.

Over 30 years, this suggests well over 10 million graduates have struggled to find stable employment.
