Your Excellencies President Tinubu, opposition parties, independent candidates, 240 million Nigerians are to express a concern shared by many Nigerians who want to see our nation move beyond political rhetoric and toward real, measurable progress. Instead of spending public funds on televised interviews filled with promises that rarely materialize, we urge your administration, opposition parties, and independent candidates to focus on concrete actions that directly improve the lives of Nigerians.

Nigeria needs bold, practical reforms that touch every household. We need free and accessible education across all 36 states and 774 local government areas, from primary school to the PhD level. We need job creation strategies that guarantee employment opportunities before graduation, eliminating the burden of endless online applications and interviews that lead nowhere. A valid Nigerian ID or passport should be enough for Nigerians to access opportunities.

We also call for the immediate review and potential abolition of the NYSC program if it no longer serves its intended purpose. Addressing the root causes of insecurity, including boko haram, must be a priority. If we are serious about national development, students should be supported financially during their studies and assured of meaningful employment afterward.

We acknowledge Governor Sanwo-Olu’s recent commendation of LASU for being the most sought-after institution in the 2026 UTME and his ambition to elevate the university globally. This is the kind of forward-thinking vision we hope to see replicated nationwide.

Nigeria deserves leadership that prioritizes action over talk. We hope your administration will take these concerns seriously and work toward a future where every Nigerian has access to free education, security, and opportunity.
