Your Excellencies the Nigerian government opposition parties, independent candidates 240 million Nigerians are writing to you as a concerned Nigerian citizen to urgently request decisive action regarding the continued use of Starlink internet services within our country Nigeria

For decades, Nigerian government have been promised reforms, protections, and stronger support for our local industries. Yet we continue to see foreign companies dominate critical sectors, including telecommunications and internet infrastructure. Today, Starlink’s widespread use poses serious regulatory, economic, and security concerns. Many countries around the world have already taken steps to restrict or fully ban the service in order to protect national interests. Nigeria should not be left behind.

Our request is clear and direct respectfully:

Ban the use of Starlink internet services within Nigeria in the 36 states 774LGA now 5/12/2026

Do not criminalize or jail 240 million Nigerians who currently use Starlink; instead, provide a fair transition period now 5/12/2026

Ensure that Nigerians and businesses migrate to Nigerian-owned internet service providers who are capable, reliable, and ready to serve the nation and create millions of jobs for Nigerian youths and graduates

Prioritize Nigerian companies so that our economy, jobs, and technological development remain in our hands here in Nigerian. lf we need training from foreign countries that`s fine but we demand they train Nigerian youths and graduates

This is not the time for slogans, photo opportunities, or another cycle of unfulfilled promises. Nigerians have been fighting for this level of protection and prioritization for decades. We need real action, not symbolic gestures.

We respectfully urge the Nigerian government to take immediate steps to safeguard our national digital sovereignty and strengthen our local telecommunications industry now 5/12/2026

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
