The Amukpe-Escravos Pipeline is a national asset. If it must be sold, it should be at its true market value. We are not in a desperate situation that forces us to sell it at a giveaway price. Selling it below value would amount to sabotage. Frankly, all processes leading up to the attempted sale should be stopped and terminated immediately. An independent evaluation should be conducted so we know the asset’s current market value and what is actually on the table.
