🚨🔵 Luis is a former Chelsea player who was briefly considered when Rosenior was appointed as Maresca’s replacement. The Brazilian has since left Flamengo with whom he won three titles, including the Copa Libertadores.
One significant problem for Luis is that he does not hold a Uefa Pro Licence, but there have been reports in Brazil that he and his agent, Jorge Mendes, are trying to fast-track and validate his qualification, which would be necessary to take the Chelsea job.
While Glasner ticks some boxes for Chelsea with his Premier League, European and trophy-winning experience, his outspoken nature could potentially cause an issue. He has openly criticised Palace’s transfer activity and Chelsea’s owners took a dim view of former head coach Enzo Maresca publicly speaking his mind.
