Your Excellencies President Tinubu, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Peter Obi, Opposition parties, independent candidates 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern shared by many Nigerians about the direction of governance and the priorities being emphasized at this critical time.

There is growing frustration that discussions about the 2027 election are taking center stage while the root causes of insecurity—especially boko haram—remain unresolved. Nigerians want to see concrete action, not political positioning.

Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA continue to pay for electricity despite decades of darkness. You promised free light and free Wi-Fi/data in 2022/2023 when you were campaigning, yet in 2026, millions still live without reliable power. The previous Minister of power diverted public funds, and Nigerians are still waiting to see full recovery of the stolen money, seizure of assets, and visible proof that justice is being served.

We now have a new minister of power repeating the same slogans without delivering results. If he is not serious about providing electricity for 240 million Nigerians, he should step aside. Nigerian youths and graduates are capable, willing, and ready to do the work that leaders have failed to do for decades.

The decision to re-elect any leader will ultimately be made by 240 million Nigerians. But leadership must be earned through service, not assumed through campaign activities.

Respectfully Opposition leaders—Peter Obi, Goodluck Jonathan, and others—must also stop the photo opportunities and focus on supporting Nigerians now. You do not need to be president to contribute to national progress now 5/11/2026

The priority today should be clear: fix the root causes of boko haram, create jobs, invest in agriculture, and ensure fair laws that protect all Nigerians. Election talk should not overshadow the urgent needs of the nation.

If leaders are not serious about solving these problems, then they should step aside and allow capable Nigerian youths and graduates to lead the way.
