The Lagos State Government has announced the temporary closure of the outbound section of Eko Bridge for emergency safety investigations and repairs, effective Tuesday, May 12.

According to the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the inward lane will remain open, while motorists heading through the Apongbon–Ijora Olopa route have been advised to use the Third Mainland Bridge as an alternative.
