Angola’s first refinery, the $470 million Cabinda Refinery, has started exporting fuel while also supplying the domestic market.

The refinery currently processes 30,000 barrels per day, covering about 10 percent of Angola’s fuel demand.

Its capacity is expected to rise to 60,000 barrels per day in the second phase of the project.
