Turkey: Engin urges Galatasaray to cash in on Osimhen amid attitude concerns
Former Beşiktaş midfielder, Sinan Engin, has advised Galatasaray to consider selling Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen if a major offer arrives this summer.
Engin claimed the Super Eagles forward’s attitude and behaviour within the squad have changed, stressing that the player now gets angry on the pitch compared to when he first arrived from Napoli.
Speaking on the Asist Analiz YouTube channel, the former midfielder said Galatasaray should not hesitate to accept a €120 million bid from clubs like Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
“If clubs like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are offering around €120 million or more, then I support selling Osimhen,” Engin said.
He further alleged that some players now feel pressured to pass the ball to Osimhen to avoid his reactions during matches.
Despite his criticism, Engin admitted that the Nigerian striker remains an important player for Galatasaray, though he believes the forward was more impactful earlier in his spell with the Turkish giants.
