Applying for a Band 5 role might be the reason your visa was rejected.



The 2026 sponsorship floor is now £38,700 - £41,700. If you apply for a basic role, the Trust can't legally sponsor you.



I’m seeing nurses with 10 years of experience applying for junior roles. Recruiters won't tell you this, but they are looking for Band 6/7 specialists because those roles easily clear the salary bar.
