Greetings President Tinubu, Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Peter Obi, Leaders of Opposition Parties, and Independent Political Figures, 230 million or 240 million really do not matter Nigerians are
writing as a concerned Nigerian citizen who believes that the future of our country depends on decisive, united, and immediate action. Nigeria, with a population now exceeding 230 million, is facing a severe healthcare crisis. Many Primary Healthcare Centers across the 36 states and 774 Local Government Areas are operating without doctors due to the ongoing Japa syndrome and chronic underinvestment in the health sector.

Even though some of you are not currently in office, you still hold significant influence, leadership, and the ability to mobilize action. You can work directly with governors, local government chairpersons, and private-sector partners to begin building and equipping modern hospitals across all 36 states and 774 LGAs. These facilities should have reliable electricity, modern medical technology, free Wi-Fi/data, and well-paid doctors, nurses, and support staff. Providing free or subsidized housing, education, and healthcare for medical workers would help reduce the incentive to leave the country.

Nigerians are not interested in political campaigns for the 2027 elections at this moment. We are interested in solutions now—May 10, 2026. We are asking that you stop spending public funds on rallies, posters, and political events, and instead redirect those resources toward building a healthcare system that can serve all Nigerians.

The current situation is unsustainable. Too many Nigerians are forced to travel abroad for medical care because our hospitals lack the equipment, staffing, and infrastructure required to provide quality treatment. This is not a partisan issue. It is a national emergency.

We urge all political leaders—regardless of party affiliation—to work together to:

Build new, fully equipped hospitals in all 36 states and 774 LGAs.

Ensure free 24/7 electricity and internet access in all healthcare facilities.

Provide competitive salaries and benefits to medical professionals.

Invest in training, retaining, and supporting healthcare workers.

Strengthen Primary Healthcare Centres to reduce preventable deaths.

Nigeria cannot continue losing its doctors while millions of citizens lack access to basic medical care. The responsibility to fix this crisis belongs to all leaders, not only those currently in office.

Please act now. The lives of millions depend on the decisions you make today and will go down in history which do you want to be part of good or evil respectfully this is humble request for the future of our children depends on a better Nigeria now.
