Iran sets conditions for World Cup participation

Iran's football federation says the national team will play in the 2026 World Cup but demands hosts US, Mexico, and Canada agree to its conditions, including visa guarantees and respect for its flag and anthem.

The move follows Canada denying entry to an Iranian official over IRGC ties. FIFA confirms Iran will play as scheduled.
