Zenith Bank was founded in May 1990 by Jim Ovia, with operations beginning in July of the same year. On the question of how many Nigerians Zenith Bank has hired, no publicly available source provides an exact total number of Nigerian employees across its history or current workforce. What is known is that the bank serves over 33 million customers and operates over 450 branches and business offices in Nigeria, which implies a very large Nigerian workforce, but the bank does not publish employee nationality breakdowns.
