Many people think a post has no value if it does not get enough comments or engagement.
But social media engagement and real-life impact are not always the same thing.
Platforms may reward comments, shares, and reactions…
but human beings do not always respond publicly even when something truly touches them.
There are posts I have seen on social media that genuinely impacted my life, changed my thinking, educated me, or stayed in my mind for a long time…
yet I never commented, liked, or engaged.
Not because the post was bad.
Sometimes I simply had nothing to say.
Sometimes I was quietly reflecting on it.
Sometimes I just moved on after learning from it.
Many people online are silent consumers.
They read.
They learn.
They heal.
They grow.
They remember.
A post with low engagement can still have deep impact.
Social media algorithms measure visible attention.
But real impact is often invisible.
