Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.

When you write one paragraph, you are voting for the identity of a writer.

When you analyze a single stock, you are voting for the identity of an investor.

Eventually, these votes become so overwhelming that your identity shifts. You stop "trying" to do something and simply become the person who does it.
