Salah will bid farewell later this month to bring to an end his illustrious nine-year career at Liverpool.
Salah has said he is confident he will play in Liverpool's shirt again before the end of the season.
In an interview with Gerard on behalf of the media, Salah said:"He's fine with his injuries. I'll probably be back before then."

When Gerard asked about the secret of his success, he replied: "I would say desire."

"I really want to be successful and I really wanna be remembered at this club. After the first year, I wanted people to remember me as one of the best players. Somehow I would even think in my head that I wanted people to remember me, deeper than you (Gerard) and deeper than Kenny - no offense! They won't, but that's okay.”

“For me, there's something that makes me a little 'crazy' and drives me to try hard. First to arrive, first to go to the gym, do everything the best, and I want people to praise me for paying for it.”
"At the end of the day, it's that longing."

Salah also spoke about the deep ties he has developed with Liverpool fans since joining in 2017.
"It was incredible. I never thought I'd build such a close relationship with the fans."

"Whenever I talk about them, or about the city, I get emotional. The connection between us is very special."
"As long as you give your best in the field, they will love you. They know I've given everything, I've been professional throughout my career and have been encouraging my teammates: 'Keep everything on the pitch and the fans will recognize you.’’
