A capybara pup has been born at Edinburgh Zoo, the first birth of its kind in Scotland in 18 years.

Native to South America, capybaras thrive in forests, wetlands and savannas.

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, which runs both Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park, supports wildlife conservation projects in Scotland and around the world.
