Your Excellencies and Esteemed Leaders, 240 million Nigerians are
writing out of deep concern for the state of our nation and the future of millions of Nigerian youths. Every day, young graduates roam the streets without jobs, not because they lack talent or willingness to work, but because the systems and industries that should sustain our economy have collapsed.

Where is the money that should have built opportunities for our people? If our institutions were functioning, 240 million Nigerian youths and graduates could be meaningfully employed without anyone needing to beg or collect handouts. Those who stole public funds must be held accountable, their assets recovered, and the resources redirected toward rebuilding Nigeria.

We must also raise urgent questions about our once‑promising steel sector. What is happening to Ajaokuta Steel Mills? What is happening to Delta Steel Company? Were these national assets sold, and if so, to whom? Why are these giant steel mills not working today? Have they collapsed like our refineries?

These industries were built by past administrations, including the military era, with the intention of industrializing Nigeria. Steel production is the backbone of manufacturing. Assembly plants, construction, infrastructure, and countless industries depend on it. The collapse of these steel mills has crippled job creation and pushed our nation backward.

It is painful to see that instead of progress, we are witnessing decades of decline. 240 million Nigerians feel that civilian/military leadership has taken us backward, not forward. There is no development, nothing is working, and the frustration among Nigerians is real.

We are pleading for transparency, accountability, and decisive action. Reviving Ajaokuta and Delta Steel, restoring our refineries, and investing in real industrial growth will create jobs, restore hope, and rebuild national pride.

Nigeria is blessed with resources, talent, and potential. What we lack is the political will to make things work. We urge you to act now 5/8/2026, for the sake of our youth and the future of our country.
