THE MAMBILLA HYDRO POWER PROJECT IN TARABA STATE.
Conceived in 1970 to deliver 3,050 MW of power at the cost of $5.8b it would be the biggest power generator in Nigeria.
So far at least $1.8b has been sunk into it by successive administrations. But know what? There's no access road for even a bike to the site.
However the project on paper has been a reliable ATM for successive power ministers and other top govt officials.
And the darkness continues.
