Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern regarding the unresolved issue of the $3.5 billion allocated for refinery rehabilitation, which remains unaccounted for amid growing public calls for transparency.

Nigeria stands at a critical moment. The nation’s courts and judiciary have a constitutional duty to uphold justice, protect public resources, and ensure that every individual found guilty of mismanaging or diverting public funds faces appropriate legal consequences. This includes prosecution, imprisonment where warranted, and the seizure and recovery of all stolen assets.

The Nigerian people—especially the more than 240 million citizens and the millions of educated youths and graduates across the 36 states and 774 local government areas—are watching closely. The global community is also observing how Nigeria handles this matter. Accountability in this case will send a powerful message that corruption will no longer be tolerated.

Direct a full, transparent investigation into the refinery rehabilitation funds.

Ensure that all recovered funds are returned to the 240 million Nigerian people.

Begin a comprehensive reform of NNPCL to restore public trust and create opportunities for Nigerian youths.

Nigeria deserves institutions that work, leaders who protect public wealth, and a justice system that treats corruption as a national threat. Taking firm action now will strengthen your legacy and reinforce Nigeria’s standing before the world.
