Your Excellencies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mr. Peter Obi, Leaders of Opposition Parties, and All Independent Candidates, 240 million concerned Nigerians who believe that the state of our nation demands urgent, sincere, and accountable leadership. For decades insecurity continues to threaten the possibility of free and fair elections in Nigeria. The root causes of boko haram and other extremist groups remain unaddressed, and without tackling these foundations now, no election can be credible or safe.
Despite having three ministers of power, Nigerians remain in darkness and poverty. 240 million still lack stable electricity, and the absence of affordable or free internet access continues to widen inequality. We demand immediate action toward providing reliable light, free public Wi-Fi, and free data access. These are not luxuries; they are essential tools for education, economic growth, and national security.
We urge all political actors to stop distracting Nigerians with early 2027 campaign speeches and rallies. Campaigning will not create jobs, it will not end insecurity, and it will not solve the root causes of terrorism. Nigerians are tired of slogans, tired of promises, and tired of leaders who speak loudly but act slowly.
If you are not serious about ensuring that 240 million Nigerians experience a free, fair, transparent election—with no rigging, no political killings, no intimidation by thugs, police, military, or air force—then step aside. Allow young Nigerians, graduates, and capable Nigerians to do the work you are being paid monthly to do.
We demand real-time electronic transmission of results, full transparency, and absolute protection of voters. Anything less is unacceptable.
If you are not committed to these goals, we respectfully ask that you step away and do not return.
Faithfully,
240 million concerned Nigerians suffering/bleeding and in poverty & darkness
