Former President Goodluck Jonathan has said that any decision regarding the 2027 presidential race would only come after broad consultations with key stakeholders across the country.

Jonathan stated that politics and leadership are serious responsibilities that require careful planning, unity, and national interest, stressing that the presidential contest is “not a computer game” that should be approached casually.
