Your Excellencies and Esteemed Leaders, 240 million Nigerians are
writing out of deep concern for the direction of our nation and the daily suffering of ordinary Nigerians. This message is not about party lines, personal ambitions, or 2027 political calculations. It is about survival, dignity, and the urgent need for responsible leadership.

240 million Nigerians are struggling under the weight of unprecedented fuel prices, a weakened currency, and insecurity that continues to claim innocent Nigerian lives. In the year 2000, when the naira was around ₦102 to the dollar and petrol was ₦22 per litre, a thousand naira could buy 45 litres of fuel. Today, that same ₦1,000 barely buys a fraction of that. This is not sustainable for any society.

The blame game, defections, slogans, and political fights do nothing to ease the hardship. Nigerians are not interested in 2027 campaign talk. We are focused on 5/7/2026 and the urgent need to fix the root causes of our national crises—especially the conditions that allowed boko haram and other threats to grow.

If our leaders—whether in government, opposition, or independent—truly value Nigerian lives now 5/7/2026, then unity and cooperation must replace rivalry. The country needs all of you to work together, set aside ego, and focus on solutions that restore affordability, security, and hope.

If any leader is not serious about these priorities, then it is better to step aside than to continue offering empty promises. 240 million Nigerians deserve honesty, competence, and action—not slogans.

240 million Nigerians are watching the global world as well, and history will remember those who chose unity and service over division and ambition.
