🎯Pullorum disease: Pullorum disease is a highly contagious, vertically transmitted bacterial infection caused by Salmonella enterica serotype Gallinarum biovar Pullorum, primarily affecting young chickens and turkeys. It causes high mortality (up to 100%) in chicks, with symptoms including white diarrhea, huddling, and weakness. The disease is controlled via blood testing and culling.
