Respectfully to the Lagos state government, 240 million Nigerians are
writing to express deep concern about the ongoing arrests and jailing of Nigerian youths and graduates for indiscriminate waste disposal. Instead of criminalizing millions of young Nigerians, we urge the government to focus on addressing the root causes of these issues.

For over two decades, boko haram has caused immense suffering, instability, and loss of life across Nigeria in the 36 states 774 LGA. These threats demand urgent and sustained attention. Prioritizing the arrest and punishment of terrorists who have harmed Nigerians since 1999 is essential for national security and public safety.

No harm should befall innocent Nigerians who are struggling with unemployment, lack of opportunities, and inadequate public infrastructure. Rather than sending youths to jail, the government should consider:

Building free public toilets across all 36 states and 774 local government areas.

Creating meaningful employment by hiring240 millions of Nigerian youths and graduates now in the 36 states 774 LGA

Ensuring that young Nigerians are in school, not in jail. kindly release them this is a humble request

Replacing ineffective programs with real job opportunities that empower graduates in the 36 states 774 LGA

These steps would address the root causes of indiscriminate waste disposal and provide sustainable solutions that uplift communities.

We respectfully urge the government to focus on long-term reforms that promote safety, dignity, and opportunity for all 240 million Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA
