A GIANT LIMPS IN PAIN.

Nigeria was never created to suffer!
From the very beginning,
she was born beautiful — blessed by God,
rich in glory, crowned with abundance.
She was not a mistake.
She was a promise to the Black race,
A shining treasure planted upon the earth. 🇳🇬
We were like the biblical Garden of Eden,
Overflowing with life, wealth, beauty, and endless possibilities.
Our land was green and fertile,
Our rivers danced with life,
Our forests breathed richness,
And beneath our soil rested treasures that nations could only dream of possessing.
God gave us oil, gold, fertile ground, brilliant minds, powerful culture, strength, resilience, and hope.
We had everything needed to become one of the greatest nations on earth.
There was a time this country breathed differently.
The air carried peace.
The streets were safer.
Neighbours were family.
Children laughed freely until sunset without fear of kidnapping or violence.
Parents slept with both eyes closed.
And tomorrow looked brighter than today.
Education once carried dignity.
Hard work had value.
A Nigerian passport commanded respect.
Our currency stood with pride.
A graduate could dream without anxiety.
Farmers fed the nation honourably,
Artisans built with passion,
And leadership was once seen as a sacred responsibility,
not a business empire.
But somewhere along the journey,
darkness entered the throne room.
Greed replaced vision.
Corruption swallowed integrity.
Power became a weapon.
And men who were meant to protect the nation began to feed on it like vultures feeding on a dying animal.
Today, the giant of Africa limps in pain.
The economy is bleeding.
Inflation is strangling families.
Millions work tirelessly yet cannot afford to live.
The poor sink deeper into misery while the powerful grow richer from the suffering of the masses.
Electricity became a luxury.
Food became a privilege.
Fuel became a nightmare.
Security became uncertain.
And survival became the daily prayer of ordinary Nigerians.
Mothers now cry silently in kitchens with empty pots.
Fathers hide their tears behind forced smiles because they can no longer provide for their families.
Graduates roam the streets hopelessly with certificates that no longer guarantee dignity.
The youth — the strength of the nation — now flee abroad, not because they hate Nigeria, but because Nigeria has become too painful to survive.
Everywhere is frustration.
Everywhere is exhaustion.
Everywhere is silent suffering.
And the most heartbreaking part?
This nation is not poor.
Nigeria is rich beyond imagination.
But her wealth has been looted, mismanaged, and buried beneath decades of corruption, selfishness, and failed leadership.
Those entrusted with the future of the people chose instead to build empires for themselves.
They steal billions while citizens starve.
They preach sacrifice from air-conditioned offices while millions cannot afford one decent meal a day.
They promise renewed hope while inflicting renewed hardship.
The cries of Nigerians rise daily like smoke before heaven.
The land is heavy with pain.
The future feels hijacked.
And yet, the people continue to endure because resilience is the one thing poverty cannot steal from them.
Still… beneath all this darkness, Nigeria refuses to die. 🔥
Because there is something sacred about this land.
Something powerful is buried beneath the suffering.
Greatness can be corrupted, but it can never be destroyed.
And perhaps someday,
After the tears,
After the hardship,
After the betrayal and the pain,
A new Nigeria will rise from the ashes.
A Nigeria where leadership means service again.
Where the people can breathe again.
Where children can dream again.
Where hard work is rewarded again.
Where the giant of Africa will no longer crawl in shame,
But stand tall in honour before the world.
For a nation so blessed by God
Can never remain broken forever. 🇳🇬⚡
