South Africa's men's 4x100m team achieved a historic silver medal at the 2026 World Athletics Relays in Gaborone, setting a new African record of 37.49 seconds.

Anchored by Akani Simbine, the team, also comprising Mvuyo Moss, Cheswill Johnson and Bradley Nkoana, secured their place for the World Athletics Championships.
