The 1st #MLB MVP poll of 2026 is here, with expected favorites and pleasant surprises ⚾🔥

A total of 40 MLB.com experts participated in the survey, with 40 different players receiving at least one vote in the balloting. As always, the votes are based on how the season is expected to play out and not simply on the results of the season so far.

🏆⚾ #Dodgers Shohei Ohtani leads the race for the National League.

🏆⚾ #Yankees Aaron Judge leads the race for the American League.

Voters ranked their top five picks in each league on a 5-4-3-2-1 scale -- five points for a first-place vote, four points for a second-place vote and so on.
