American actor, director and producer Matthew Lillard is set to join the Superman sequel "Man Of Tomorrow" from DC Studios. James Gunn is directing, producing and penned the script, with David Corenswet back as the Man of Steel.

Matthew Lillard is known for his energetic screen presence in 1990s and 2000s cult classics. He is best recognized as Stu Macher in Scream (1996) and Shaggy Rogers in the Scooby-Doo film serie.

It is unknown who Lillard will be playing in the movie. He joins an ensemble that includes Nicholas Hoult playing Lex Luthor. Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathon Fillion as Guy Gardner and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific. Adria Arjona is also on board to play Maxima and Aaron Pierre is also in the pic.
