I noticed something about environment, it quietly shapes how you see the world.

When you’re surrounded by people who are struggling, it starts to feel like struggle is the norm. It feels like money is scarce, opportunities are rare, and everything is falling apart. Even if you’re doing okay, fear creeps in, you start thinking you might lose what you have.
