Antibiotics resistance is now a silent pandemic dealing with us especially in this part of the world.
We're gradually going back to the era of no antibiotics, when mild infections killed people.
Imagine watching a patient or a relative die, not because they can't afford proper healthcare but because they are resistant to all available antibiotics.
Here in Nigeria, we don't treat malaria without accompanying it with "cipro",
a slight stomach
discomfort and someone is already popping metronidazole (flagyl), omoo...we chew antibiotics like chewing gum and we don't realise the effects until it's too late.
Tell a friend to tell a friend; stop taking antibiotics anyhow, take only when prescribed by a doctor!
