A coalition that was programmed to fail. A coalition is possible only if you, the driver, is not a competitor. The spirit that you bring into it is what it will have. If you are a competitor, you have brought in the spirit of competition. It will scatter. The only way that you can build a coalition around yourself is when others choose on their own initiative to come and shelter under you. It is a mistake to sell to others an idea of a unified opposition based upon equality and the choice of the best option, while you hide the intention to impose yourself on them and merely use them as a ladder to climb. When they find out that you have rigged the system, they still bolt while they still have the opportunity.
