Nigerians feel exactly the same way when political decisions that affect 240 million Nigerians are made behind closed doors by a few dozen of corrupt lawmakers. Respectfully 240 million Nigerians wanting younger, educated Nigerians in leadership is valid
A lot of Nigerians — especially youth — feel:

The same old political class keeps recycling itself

Leadership positions rarely open up to younger Nigerians

Decisions are made to protect those already in power

The system doesn’t reward competence or fresh ideas

This is a real, widespread sentiment from 240 million Nigerians

Nigeria has one of the youngest populations in the world, but one of the oldest political leadership classes. That mismatch creates tension.
