Respectfully Mr. Babachir Lawal, 240 million Nigerians are writing out of deep concern for the direction of our national conversations. Every day, Nigerians are being killed, displaced, or traumatized by insecurity. boko haram and other violent extremist groups continue to destroy lives and communities. These groups have caused immense suffering and human rights violations, and the country urgently needs leaders who will prioritize solutions now 5/6/2026
With all due respect sir, we believe the focus on Mr. Peter Obi has become a distraction. He has moved on, and we urge you to do the same. Nigeria needs every serious leader to concentrate on fixing the root causes of insecurity rather than engaging in political commentary that does not improve the lives of 240 million Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA
If opposition parties, independent candidates, and political stakeholders cannot work together to address the foundations of boko haram’s rise—poverty, unemployment, weak local governance, and lack of security infrastructure—then campaigning for 2027 becomes meaningless. Nigerians need safety, stability, and hope now 5/6/2026
We encourage you to channel your influence toward collaboration with governors across the 36 states and leaders in the 774 local government areas. The world is watching how Nigerian politicians respond to this moment. What the country needs most is unity, action, and a commitment to doing the needful not division and distractions sir
Thank you for your attention.
Faithfully,
Concerned Nigerians bleeding/suffering/in poverty/darkness
