240 million Nigerians are writing to you out of deep concern for the ongoing insecurity and the tragic loss of Nigerian lives across the country in the 36 states 774 LGA . The weight of this crisis rests on the shoulders of all 240 million Nigerians, and many feel an increasing sense of fear, frustration, and abandonment.

Your recent public comments have raised serious worries about the urgency with which this national emergency is being addressed. Nigerians are dying today. Families are grieving today. Communities are being displaced today. This is not a challenge that can wait until after any election cycle in 2027 Nigerians demand actions now 5/6/2026 respectfully sir no lies/no slogans

As the Senate President, your voice carries immense influence. Nigerians expect leadership that confronts the root causes of insecurity head-on and mobilizes every available resource to protect Nigerian lives.

We respectfully urge you to:

Treat the killings of Nigerians and insecurity as an immediate national emergency now 5/6/2026

Work collaboratively with all 36 state governors and the 774 local government chairpersons.

Strengthen coordination between federal, state, and local security structures.

Demand accountability and transparency in security operations and funding.

Champion policies that address both the symptoms and the underlying drivers of violence.

Nigeria cannot afford to normalize the loss of innocent Nigerian lives. The country needs decisive, compassionate, and proactive leadership now 5/6/2026
