Additionally, many Nigerians are leaving our homeland in large numbers for other people's lands, seeking refuge from decades of poor leadership that has turned our country into a difficult place to live. While a section of the North is flooding the South, a section of the South is relocating to greener pastures abroad (Japa), and now some of these nations are pushing us out with so much vile and hatred. Though we haven't yet tackled these complex issues, we can start to restore our pride by welcoming back our citizens who wish to return from South Africa, where the issue has turned grave. This is a hard reality to face, and I feel a deep sense of shame.
