Why Nigerians are asking for video evidence how do Nigerians know who is lying? we need to see the video — reflects a real problem:
No CCTV or video has been released publicly
None of the news reports mention any video evidence being tendered in court. The judgment relied on:

Testimony from DSS officers

Testimony from SERAP staff

SERAP’s own posts

DSS internal clarifications

There is no indication that SERAP provided CCTV footage or that DSS provided body‑cam or surveillance footage.

SERAP claims the court ignored contradictions
SERAP says the ruling is a “travesty of justice” and that there were inconsistencies in the DSS account. They argue the case is a SLAPP (a lawsuit meant to silence critics) and have vowed to appeal.

The public is left with two conflicting narratives
DSS says: It was a routine visit.

SERAP says: It was harassment.

The court says: SERAP’s claim wasn’t proven.

Without video, Nigerians cannot independently verify what happened.
