Rather than seeing freedom of speech as a poison to be neutralized, it should be viewed as a critical component of a healthy society. The challenges it presents should be addressed through democratic and rights-respecting mechanisms, not by suppressing expression. The true task is to foster a responsible public sphere while rigorously protecting the right to dissent.
