TYPES OF POULTRY HOUSING
1. Deep litter system (also called built-up litter or deep bedding) is a common floor-based housing method in poultry farming where birds (like layers or broilers) are kept on a thick layer of absorbent bedding material on the floor of the poultry house. (First picture)

2. battery cage system (also called cage or battery housing). Birds are kept in small wire cages (usually in tiers/stacks) stacked in rows inside the poultry house. (Picture 2)
