Citizen voice

Regular town halls: with governors, security chiefs, and community leaders.

Whistleblower protections: for reporting corruption and abuse.

Pillar 5: Healing, identity, and social fabric
Goal: Reduce the emotional fuel that keeps the conflict alive.

Psychosocial support

Trauma counseling: for children, widows, ex‑fighters, and communities.

School‑based mental health programs: teachers trained to spot and support traumatized kids.

Reconciliation and coexistence

Dialogue forums: between ethnic and religious groups, victims and repentant fighters.

Cultural and youth programs: sports, arts, music, inter‑community events.

Support for women

Widows’ cooperatives: savings groups, business support, land access.

Protection from stigma: especially for women and children returning from boko haram captivity.
