240 million Nigerians are asking the real question now 5/4/2026—not how rich are they? but what would it actually take to end this thing at the roots. Respectfully need a serious 10‑year action. N lies/fake slogans
boko haram survives on four things: grievance, poverty, ideology, and weak state presence.
A real action now has to attack all four—at the same time—for a long time.
Think of it in three phases:
Years 1–3: Stabilize and rebuild trust
Years 4–7: Deep development and institutional reform
Years 8–10: Consolidation so it doesn’t grow back
Pillar 1: Security, justice, and trust
Goal: Nigerians feel safer with the state than with the gunmen.
Professionalize security forces
Training: human rights, community engagement, intelligence‑led operations.
Accountability: independent body to investigate abuses by soldiers and police.
Local recruitment: more security personnel from the affected communities.
Community‑based security
Early‑warning networks: local leaders, youth, women’s groups reporting threats.
Demobilize militias: gradually replace ad‑hoc vigilantes with trained community police.
Justice and accountability
Special courts: for terrorism, war crimes, and serious abuses (state and non‑state).
Truth‑telling mechanisms: for massacres, disappearances, arbitrary detentions.
Victim compensation: clear, transparent schemes for those who lost family, homes, or livelihoods now 5/4/2026
