240 million Nigerians are writing to respectfully appeal for your attention and intervention regarding the situation of Joy Ezeugwu, the student nurse who recently shared a video highlighting the lack of electricity, water, oxygen, and other essential supplies at Uwani General Hospital in Enugu.

Her video reflects concerns that 240 million Nigerians have expressed for decades about the state of public healthcare facilities. These conditions are part of the reason so many Nigerians feel compelled to seek medical care abroad. Nigerians deserve hospitals that are safe, functional, and equipped with uninterrupted power, clean water, and modern resources. They deserve an environment were speaking up for the public good is not met with fear or punishment and being killed

We respectfully urge your office to ensure that no harm comes to Joy Ezeugwu for bringing these issues to light. Protecting individuals who speak truth to power is essential for building trust and improving public institutions. Her intention was clearly to advocate for better healthcare for all Nigerians in the 36 states 774 LGA

We also hope that this moment becomes an opportunity to strengthen the healthcare system in Enugu State and all the 36 states 774 LGA —ensuring reliable free electricity 24/7 365 days, free wifi/data that was promised decades ago and promises still not met clean water, adequate medical supplies, and supportive conditions for both patients and healthcare workers. This is a humble request no need of police report /payment healthcare must be free in all the 36 states 774 LGA. Nigerians have been paying for light bills for decades but still in darkness in 2026 kindly do the needful sirs
