How can a man in his right senses send his wife out at 11pm just because she got a tattoo?

Not even a house help deserves that kind of treatment — talk less of a wife.

If it was truly about love, he would have handled it with calmness, not cruelty.

Stories like this are exactly why some people fear marriage.

Because the truth is — not everyone wants a partner, some want control.

And let’s be clear:
After marriage, the house — even if built by the man — is no longer his alone.

Marriage is partnership, not ownership.
Not master and servant.
Not control and submission.

If this is what some people call “being a man,” then it’s honestly something to think twice about.

How can a man in his right senses send his wife out at 11pm just because she got a tattoo?

Mummy G. O: I'm a woman.
Sometimes we women look for trouble from our men. You can't tell me that, that woman did not know that her husband does not want tattoo.
In as much as the man went to far.
But women should respect their husband
Like minds🫂: I believe if one is ready to marry and settled down she should also know that her actions are no longer only her's.
Going against your husband's wish to mutilate your body is condemnable, a good wife should have discussed it with her husband before taking such action. As for sending her out at that...
Like minds🫂: My opinion on this has nothing to do with religion but mortality.
This wife did not try.
Gladden Ngozi: Completely agree. Sending anyone , especially your spouse, out late at night over a tattoo isn't discipline; it's abandonment and control. Marriage is a voluntary union of equals, not a power dynamic where one person gets to punish the other any how it time he or she wants. That's not love but that...
Jude Noma: While I agree that women should be treated with respect & marriage is a partnership venture & not a dictator kind of relationship, I want to believe the wife must have sold the idea of getting a tattoo to her husband which he frowned at & vehemently said NO to. Probably, the woman went ahead to do i...
David Onyedikachi: In as much as I don't support the actions of the man but the woman should have known what the husband likes and dislikes.
Simon G: I like your passionate position on this matter and bringing it to public space to create awareness and illicit discussion that may probably help someone else.
That said, I believe you are reacting to the consequences of an action without complete knowledge. The understanding of the story end-to-end...
Africa Growth Hub (Official): For me that that’s unacceptable,
Love doesn’t humiliate or punish.
Marriage is partnership not control,
Disagreement in marriage is normal but how you handle it shows your character and how long the marriage will last.
No one deserves to be treated like that especially not a partner
Respect, safety...
Chizoba Ezunu: Sis Blessing,
Marriage is an institution ordained or orchestrated by God. Without prejudice to your story or any case in mind, the institution of marriage has foundational principles guiding it.
Ephesians 5:25-33 aptly captures some of these principles.
Dada Ogbegun: While i like your submision, i meant the man was so iratical, the woman as well has some faults. She should not have gone to draw tatoo when she knows clearly the husband will not like it. When women talk about control plus love, it must be with common sense and decency. My wife cannot go out withou...
