Peter Obi resigned from the ADC today. He cited lawfare (litigation allegedly sponsored or exploited by the ruling party) that is tying down the party and creating uncertainty. He also pointed to internal disagreements, especially around direct primaries vs. consensus. Many aspirants aren’t willing to step down, which risks fresh court cases and fragmentation.
