What actually changes stop the killings of Nigerians by boko haram on 5/3/2026. Respectfully to the Nigerian government, opposition parties, independent candidates. Kindly use our tax money to fix Nigeran instead of travelling to the USA that is if politicians are serious in fixing Nigerian now
Reducing poverty and hunger so Nigerians are less vulnerable to recruitment by violent groups.

Strengthening institutions so corruption is harder and accountability is real.

Improving economic opportunities so hardship doesn’t fuel frustration and instability.

Community-level peacebuilding where local leaders, youth, and civil society address tensions before they escalate.

Consistent political will to reform security agencies and invest in long-term stability.

Why external countries can’t fix Nigeria
They have no authority inside Nigeria. The U.S., U.K., France, or any other nation cannot deploy force or intervene in domestic security without Nigeria’s consent.

Foreign governments act through diplomacy, not control. They can issue statements, impose sanctions, or offer support, but they cannot directly govern Nigerian institutions.

Nigeria’s challenges are internal. poverty, corruption, unemployment, weak institutions, and insecurity are rooted in domestic systems that only Nigerians can reform.
