President Tinubu’s 90-Day Power Sector Ultimatum Emotional at Best - Dagogo-Jack

The deterioration in Nigeria’s power sector is so deep that talk of a 90-day turnaround is emotional at best; it will not happen. What we should expect, however, is a clear mission statement or directive that gives investors confidence, even more than it reassures Nigerians. The two new appointees in the power sector must address these challenges with unity of purpose. They must carry out an intense diagnostic of the sector with a view to solving its fundamental problems.
